Industrial
sandblasting.
Remove rust, mill scale, old paint and coatings from steel components, structures and trailers up to 6 m long. Clean, properly prepared surfaces, ready for powder coating in the same facility.
steel.
Why sandblast
Better prep.
Longer life.
A coating is only as good as the surface underneath it. Sandblasting strips rust, mill scale, old paint and contamination back to clean steel and leaves a surface profile that new coatings can grip.
Because we blast and powder coat under one roof, items move straight from the blast area to coating, without time to pick up new rust or dirt between suppliers.
- Rust & mill scale removal
- Old paint & coating stripping
- Surface profile for coating
- Items up to 6 m long
Large-format blasting
Up to 6 m.
Trailers too.
We sandblast items up to 6 metres long, so full trailers, chassis, long beams and large frames can be stripped in one go instead of being cut down or done in sections.
Whether it's a rusted trailer heading for a rebuild or new structural steel that needs mill scale removed before coating, large items get the same thorough, even finish as small parts.
- Trailers & chassis
- Beams & structural steel
- Gates & large frames
- Plant & mining equipment

questions.

What is sandblasting?
Abrasive media is blasted at high pressure onto the steel to strip rust, mill scale, paint and contamination. It leaves a clean surface with a slight profile that new coatings bond to.
Can you sandblast trailers?
Yes. We blast trailers and chassis up to 6 m long. Please remove wiring, lights, rubber and tyres first, or let us know and we'll discuss it when we quote.
How big an item can you blast?
Items up to 6 metres long. Send us the length, width and height of your largest item and we'll confirm.
Should I coat items after blasting?
Yes. Bare steel starts to rust quickly once blasted. We can powder coat items in our facility straight after blasting, with a 5 m curing oven.
Can sandblasting damage thin metal?
Very thin sheet can distort if it isn't blasted carefully. Let us know if your item has thin panels and we'll advise on the best approach.
How long does sandblasting take?
Lead time depends on the size, condition and quantity of your items, and whether they need coating. We confirm the lead time on your quotation.
Rusted or flaking?
Let's strip it.
